Freezing rain!

I woke up this morning to the sound of freezing rain and sleet.  I immediately said a prayer of thanks for my job and the home office as well as a prayer for the safety of those traveling.

Then I got dressed and put on my new ear rings. Last weekend Kay Jewelry had a customer application sale. On the way up to Dad's I did some window shopping.  I wanted to buy Tabatha something special and invest for myself in something special.

I have been feeling very split lately. I am moving my life back to the basics but I have a nagging feeling that I should learn about and investing in gems.  So I have started the learning process. Cubic Zirconia sends off a colorful rainbow of light in the sunshine.

Sunday on my way home, I stopped back at Kays. The items that I was looking at had been on sale. Now because of customer application they were on sale even more.

I don't always understand why I have such strong prompting to do things. I always check my promptings: legal?  ethical? goes with my beliefs? I have learned that if it will cause no harm then I act on the prompting. Sunday that meant I received HUGE savings. I purchased my sister a bubble bee pendant and myself a ring and the two of us matching earrings and another necklace. I got all of that for less than the normal price of the ring.
