An English Pub

With my English ancestry this should be more normal for me. But this Field was at her first English pub on September 30, 2018.
One of my coworker's had Fish and Chips?
He has an appetizer of pretzels?
I had a ceasar salad and butterfly steak with garlic mashed potatoes and a reduction stock.
Two other coworkers had cottage pie (the beef version of shepperd pie.)

All American Steakhouse

Part of my job is traveling to a client site and staying a few weeks when we bring their computer system online. September 26th was the start of 2 1/2 weeks away from home. On the 29th a co-worker and I went to American Steakhouse for supper.
The French onion soup was amazing!  I am spoiled at home with homegrown beef. But I need to admit that this was a nice tender steak. They added a bit too many spices.
Overall this is definitely a place to visit again.

Kiesch for breakfast? 9/14/2018

I met with my nutritionist this week.  I shut down a bit when she showed me the plate example with 1/4 bread/pasta carbohydrates. But one thing she said was reasonable. I need to get more fiber with my breakfast.  She talked about fruit .... like 5 grapes? Haha
I decided to make a kiesch. I started with mushrooms and cauliflower. I was chopping veggies while I crisped my bacon.
I added a bit of broccoli.
It all came together very well. I sprinkled dry garlic over the vegetables.
Our eggs are still small so it took 18 eggs to cover the vegetables. As I whipped the eggs I added a drop of black pepper oil.
I baked it at 400 degrees for 50 minutes. I am making this in the evening since my morning is so busy.  Oh it smells delicious!
I cut it into 9 pieces so each piece will equal 2 small eggs. Now to wait for it to cool so that I can freeze most of the pieces for another day.
