Sunday at the Mollie B Polka Party there were a lot fewer people. When it comes to Polka dancing, fewer is better. It is a three step dance but it is often done with vigor, gusto and large steps. That is difficult to do when the dance floor is crowded.
It was also easier for me to take pictures. So I have a large group of fun pictures to share for you today! They will tell a story all their own.
This costume was perfect for swinging. |
There was room in the corner for a big polka step! |
Twirl that girl! |
Twirl that guy! |
move those legs - there's room today! |
'round and 'round, having fun |
Skirt a flying |
gals a twirling |
then a fancy dance comes by |
and more fancy dancers move with great energy |
stepping in sync |
full of hops and turns |
twists and skips |
young and old |
moving to the beat |
in, under and through. Everyone had a great time! |
