For lunch we shared a turkey leg. I picked the turkey off the leg and shared bites with her. I carefully picked those long, thin, sharp bones out then she got the really BIG bone in the center. She ate both ends off of it, broke open the center, ate the marrow out, and the rest was mine to pick up and throw away.

We had a long walk to and from the car as a portion of the parking lot was taken up by this mining operation. The Minnesota Renaissance is celebrating it's 43rd year in operations. But a nearby frac mining operation has the future of the Renaissance Festival in question.
