RFD TV is taping in Medina, Minnesota today through Sunday for their TV show Molly B Polka Party. This is the first time that we have attended an event like this and WOW we were overwhelmed. They opened the doors an hour before the performances started and we decided that if we were there a half an hour early that it would be okay. We were very wrong. We barely found seats.
SOLD OUT Crowd
Despite the large crowds we had a great time. The bands were great and the people were all very friendly. I danced one dance with another single woman at our table and I applaud all the dancers out there because it was difficult with so many people on the dance floor. I don't go to a lot of dances but I heard many people say that they have not seen this many people on the dance floor ever before.
Trisha, Molly B. and Dale
We got lucky and ran into Molly B. We needed to wait a couple minutes but she was so gracious and friendly. She was more than willing to pose for a picture with us.
I am an eclectic person. I’ve broken the mold for the stereotype of what an accountant is like (as an accountant with a very creative side). I LOVE to challenge what “always has been”. Let’s look at things and think about them. Is there a "better" out there that we have missed because “it’s always been this way”? “Live, Laugh and Love” is one of my mottos. There is so much beauty in life we just need to stop and appreciate it. “Dance like no one is watching!” because the music in your head doesn’t match what’s playing for anyone else. :^)
