Dale is working on this National Holiday. We both had Friday July 3rd off so we took the day to pick up the Pontoon from the repair shop and head out onto the lake. We saw a lot of families gathered at the edges of the lakes and flags flying high in the yards and on the docks. Many lakes in Minnesota have boat parades on the 4th of July. We will miss the boat parades but more than likely we will hit the lake at 6 AM on Sunday morning.

I don't think that there is anything that I enjoy more than seeing the flowers in the garden go through their stages of blooming. It is different this year because I just had my house painted. I am anxious to see the colors of the garden against the new color. So far, I am very excited to see the way the garden pops. Probably because God had the foresight to mix the colors with a variety of colors of green.

The Easter Lilies (turned pink) never cease to amaze me. What is extra special is that they come into bloom at the same time that the babies breath is blooming right behind them.

The siding behind these flowers used to be pumpkin spice orange and the bricks were painted off white. But look at how they pop against the blue. Is that why the sky looks like such a beautiful blue on a sunny day? ......to reflect the beauty of God's creation in the most amazing light and make it POP! ?!?!?! God Bless America! May we bless him back by reflecting his glory and love the way the flowers do.
