In the fall, we call a warm spell after a killing frost "Indian Summer". So does that mean when we have a warm spring, the flowers start blooming and then have a killing frost it is an "Indian Winter"?
It was 32 degrees when I came home so I quick went out and cut the tulips and daffodils. They are so beautiful! My vase is still in winter storage so I recycled a water bottle. :^) I put the flowers on the corner stand in the kitchen and said to myself, "I knew I loved this color!" I found a tatami place mat to give enough contrast that I could share the beauty.
