Yes, Duchess is getting closer to welping. The puppies are due in 11 to 15 days. She seems so much bigger than last time. I suppose that could be because it is the third litter. But I'm concerned. She seems to be breathing hard at times. Yet, she heads out to the lake with us and runs like a wild banche.

| Puppies Coming |
I can't wait to see the puppies. My work is being very cooperative and when she starts welping, I can take off a day or two so that one of us can be up with her at all times. With the last two litters, she welped over night. I stayed up with her until 2-3 AM when Dale got up and stayed with her the rest of the night.
At the end she is so tired that when she stands up to reposition herself or go out to the bathroom, she can't always feel if a puppy is underneath her. With her first litter, there was about 2 hours that she was alone and one puppy got stuck under her. She tried to pull it out but it was too late.
She is definitely in the nesting mode. It is getting more difficult to keep the bed made.
