The bird kingdom has a pecking order. Some of them ruffle their feathers trying to change that pecking order but it rarely works.

The Downy Woodpecker tried to stand up to the Blue Jay. it didn't work.

Then the Red-bellied Woodpecker joined the group. It didn't care much about the other Woodpecker but it didn't like the Blue Jay being there.

The Blue Jay was more worried about the clicking noise on the other side of the glass than the Woodpecker.

Eventually the Red-bellied Woodpecker left and the Blue Jay was once again the king/queen of the hill.
