I'm getting ready for rotator cuff surgery. One of the major issues is that I will have my arm in a sling attached to my body for about a month. From mid-Novemer until the end of the year it can get cold. I will need a jacket with no arm. It is a good thing that I'm a female! More women wear shawls than men.
