It was humid and hot. But in the coolest part of the day, we walked for a couple of hours through the rose garden at Loose Park.
That doesn't say much because we all were wiping sweat out of our eyes. We weren't walking fast. We were pausing when we hit a shady areas. I couldn't believe that there were people out running in the weather.

The roses in the garden were absolutely beautiful! They were in full bloom. It was a perfect time for a visit.

Most of the pictures that I took were with my normal camera. I only took a few with my cell phone so that I could share then with you.

Don't these roses look like an inspiration for a painting? I'm not sure that I need more inspiration. What I need is more hours in the day!
The park had several other specialty gardens. These gardens are a common place for wedding parties to meet for pre-wedding photos.
