The other day when I was out in the pasture filling up the tub of water I noticed an unusual sight. The donkeys were checking out the cat which had followed me out into the yard.

At first the cat didn't mind. Then he thought otherwise and carefully turned around and ran towards the barn. My sister posted on my Facebook page a person who had videotaped a large number of hummingbird feeders outside of his window with 40 to 60 humming birds flying around.

We have had up to four hummingbirds flying around our feeder at any one time. Dale is already talking about having a second feeder to attract more. They are beautiful and fun to watch.
