Aren't they so adorable! |
We received a call Friday that the chics that were put in Bob's incubator are beginning to hatch. We had given him 18 eggs and when he called, 9 of them had hatched. It is time to get ready for chics, baby ducks, and more chics.

We started prepping over the weekend |
They arrived today! 9 chickens and 15 ducks. We were expecting a few days between the chics and ducklings but Bob kept the chics for a few days hoping that more eggs would hatch and the ducklings came in a few days early.

Just getting in the new home |
If you don't believe in God, just look at these little critters and think about it. Both come from an egg. They yolk holds the DNA and the white of the egg provides the perfect nutrients to grow the chic. Mankind has learned the art of hatching the eggs. But as far as I know, they cannot create the perfect hard shelled egg with everything included to grow an egg.
With that in mind, I have the answer to one of the oldest questions. "Which came first? The chicken or the egg?" The chicken did! God created the chicken and then said, "go forth and multiply.
