Our first night in the house we had a bit of a trauma. In the moving process, none of the throw rugs ended up out at the new house. And Duchess, our prima-donna, would not enter the house because there was too much linoleum on the floor. She doesn't like "slippery" floors.

We pulled out some old togas from my day spa days and made a path for her. It was a bit dangerous with all of the boxes in the way. But it was a temporary. We did remember a couple of the girls blankets. They needed something to make them understand that this was the new home.

It took a few days but Dale found some reasonably priced carpet runners at Tom's Carpet store in Eden Valley. Ironically, Duchess has no problem wandering around the kitchen table without the carpet runner. The silly spoiled girl!
