Anxiety!

I hate shopping. Days like today make it 100 times worse. I went to Crafts Direct to look for something to tie on the top of some bookmarks that I am making for my book signing on November 15th.

I was hoping to find a metal cancer ribbon or other similar design that would work. The parking lot was full. But worse than that, I think every car had arrived packed full.

The aisles are narrow and what I was looking for could have been in several places. To add to the anxiety, for the hunters wives sale they had set up extra locations for some things.  Women, kids and a few token men lined up and down the aisles and around the tables.

They redesigned the checkouts to the next in line style. And this is what works???  I can understand a bit why there are some people that never want to leave their home. When I saw the line wrap around three times, I was tempted to leave my cart and walk out. Instead I made a dash to the express lane as it opened up.

Can you believe the woman in front of me split her 5 items to go through a 3 item express lane? I really wanted to ask!
