My first Book Signing!

Ready for my first book signing!

I had a wonderful day yesterday.  It was my first book signing.  I had no idea how many people to expect.  I guess that is true of any event.  I had a few short lines, sort of.  They sat down at tables with their family and got up when my table was free.

It is true, new authors would be no where without the support of good friends and family.  My biggest sale was 18 books ~ thanks Dad!  Many special friends stopped and talked.  The amazing thing were the local residents that stopped by the table and said, "I didn't realize that you were an author.  I need to buy your first book."  A few purchased both books at once. 

Sunday, the Eden Valley Library is having a special event from noon until 2PM.  I will have a table there but the guest speaker will be Author and state representative, Dean Urdahl. He will present at 2PM.  Stop by an visit if you are in the Eden Valley, Minnesota area on Sunday, November 16th!
