The sunrise was beautiful! There were just enough breaks in the clouds to scatter color over the Eastern sky. It was too cold to go outside, so I took the picture through the screen.

Skyler sat by me for quite a while and we watched birds together. They were particularly loud as they chirped today. It almost sounded like I had my window open.

On the way into town, we saw an eagle land on the top of a tree. It became obvious that it had caught some prey and it was eating time.

I sort of feel a bit like that Eagle's prey tonight.
