I will start with the pretty picture of my table decorations. Today and on the way back from the doctor's appointment we made a quick stop. On my shopping list was the candy for my mother's candy dishes. Since it takes two hands to fill them, my sister helped me before she left.

I'm sure that you are all wondering how I'm doing after surgery. My therapy is going ahead of schedule. I will still be wearing my sling until early to mid-January. At that point the doctor will do a range of motion test and determine if I can take my arm out of the sling on a regular basis. At that point I will be able to start lifting but I will be limited to no more than one pound! This is going to be a very very long recovery.
