Well maybe not so little but definitely a boy that likes blue. My friend is a foster mother. This young man ended up in her emergency care home. His hair was a faded blue. There isn't much that many of these kids have control over, but by golly, if he wants blue hair - let him have it!

As a former cosmetologist, this was an area where I was able to reach out and make a small impact in a child's life. It was refreshing to see the smile on his face when the color job was finished.

Jesus teaches us to meet the physical needs of the people and it will open the doors to reach their souls. That is so critical for foster children. It breaks my heart to see how many people neglect and injure their own children by their personal choices.

The radio stations have been challenging people, "How can you make a difference in a college students life?" I would challenge, "How can we make a difference in the life of a foster child?"
