I think that I had shared a while back that I ordered several random boxes of gems on TV from Gemporia. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them. During the pitch they said it was the perfect gift for a young girl/boy interested in getting into gems. They are most likely miss - cuts or extras from a limited run that can't be used.
I had no idea what I was going to do with them. But I bought them. I figured out what to do with them. The latest thing in handmade Jewelry is story lockets; a clear circle or heart that can fit small gems and tokens.
They are perfect for many of the gemstones! I put together a heart for Tabatha with the garden theme. I made one for myself with puppy paws and gemstones.
There are three that I made for gifts. All that I can say is that I didn't buy enough gemstones.
