Tuesday, May 22nd we worked late and 5 minutes before we were ready to leave we were told a thunderstorm was due any minute.
We decided to wait out the storm on Kent Island were our client is located. My boss chose Hemmingway restaurant.
They were set far back down a windy road. The walkway up to the restaurant was beautifully groomed and full of spring blooms.
The view was exquisite and expensive.
We watched the storms roll across the bay and consume the bay bridge.
The ceiling fans were boat propellers.
What?! I am in a seafood restaurant? What else would you expect with views like that of Cheasapeake Bay.
It looks like they have some beautiful outdoor seating for those nice days.
I would give the menu a 2 on a scale from 1 to 5. Although they had several delicious choices, many of them included bell peppers.
The creme brulee was delivered smiling back at me. It was delicious with a good texture and consistency. I also liked the fact that they served fresh berries with it.
By the time that we left there were breaks in the clouds. The storms were nearly passed.
