Kids are enjoying Polka too!

Third generation joins Polka band playing concertina
Whether playing the concertina or the drums, the next generation is getting into Polka music.

Molly B and her young man
The young children look up to Molly B.  And at the same time, she remembers being brought up in and around Polka.  To encourage the children and be a good Polka role model, you often see Molly B dancing with the younger generation.

Molly B and young Molly
Molly B isn't the only good role model.  Grandmother's can be good mentors and role models for their grandchildren too.  This woman's granddaughter needed to make sure that her outfit matched her grandmother's outfit.

Matching Grandma's outfit
It does go deeper than just matching outfits.  She is a dancer too. (Mom was off to the side watching the young baby.)

A grand- dance
A song or two later, she was seen dancing (and matching) with Grandpa.

Another grand- dance
Who is this young man that she shows up dancing with later?  It happens to be her younger brother and matching, yes you are seeing it correctly.  His outfit matches grandpa's (as close as possible.)

Brother's are pretty good dancers too!
Matching with Grandma isn't a must, but the special time of learning to dance from her is never missed.  Do you notice the pride in the young girl's face. The peace and calm of knowing that this is her grandmother who thinks she is so very special.

Finishing a grand- dance
A mother with three sons is grooming them to be good Polka dancers.  Circling the floor with the youngest in her arms, the older brothers learn the Polka steps and how to respect the space of other dancers.

Family Dancing
I am a people watcher.  But nothing is quite so precious as watching the next generation embracing the music of their parents and grandparents.
