Freeze Frame

I had promised at some point in time that I would share with you some settings that can change your pictures when you take them.  Water is always a fun topic to play around with while taking pictures. My camera is a Nikon D5100.  I have the option of manually adjusting the settings or allowing the camera to set them.
1/500 sec. f4.5  70mm   ISO 800
The top picture was taken in sunlight using the automatic symbol of the man running.  It is designed to be used at sporting events in order to capture the athletes in action.  Look at how you can see some of the individual drops frozen in time.
1/125 sec. f/5.6  70mm  ISO 280
This bottom picture was taken with in sunlight with the flash off.  The water stream is a little more blurred.  The less natural light using this setting the more blurred the water will appear.
