Genusa's

When I travel, I usually take photos of the places that we eat.  Part of being in a different part of the country is experiencing the different restaurant options.  That is difficult for me with food allergies.  My allergies won't kill me but it makes working on the road difficult when I have a reaction.

I take pictures but many times it takes me too long to post them.  SORRY!  This post is really from supper about 2 weeks ago.  It was an unassuming out of the way restaurant with "to die for" food.
The salad was an unassuming standard salad with "house" dressing made on site.  The garlic bread which was served was also fresh out of the oven. It was warm, crispy and tasty.
I had shrimp and lobster over linguine noodles smothered in garlic butter with fresh Parmesan cheese.
"Would you like dessert?"
"No thank you."
"We have Tiramisu."
My favorite!  I can't say no to Tiramisu!  I am so glad that I didn't.  This was the absolute best Tiramisu that I've ever eaten.  The layers added their distinct flavors but melted together in my mouth in perfect unison.  Sometimes layered foods have a texture issue. Oh, nope, not today! Delicious!
Genusa's is a family restaurant that still creates the meals on site.  It takes a bit longer to be served sometimes but that is the price you pay for quality fresh food instead of pre-prepped/canned food.
As you walk in, you walk right past their wines.  After all, you are in a traditional Italian restaurant.
