The day started by ending the overnight showers as the sun peaked over the top of the clouds melting away the fog.

At lunchtime the dogs and I walked to the edge of the property. All four of them were outside with me but they make getting a nice photo together almost impossible.

Sklyer crouched down to pounce on Misty Blue. But she took so long to make her way back that he almost lost interest.

Last spring I planted 8 to 10 sunflower seeds by the front fence. One single solitary plant made it. But it is tall and beautiful as it greets the people driving by the place.

Inside of the fence my spring tulip garden is robust with black-eyed Suzy, petunias and moss roses. Is there any wonder why I enjoy the peace and feel so blessed living out here?
