Frost Favorites

I love frost under any circumstance.  Although photos pop the best when there is a blue sky, there are ways to enjoy the beauty with the cloudy sky when the fog is still on the horizon.
Cold Prickles
I was amazed when I started to walk up to the trees and plants outside.  The frost was long, prickle and looked like it was sharp as a thorn.  As I walked around and took photos, it appeared like the frost was still growing.

The wind was beginning to blow and I knew that my time with these beautiful treasures was limited.  I cautiously stepped in among the branches and smaller plants to get as close as possible for these pictures.  They look strong and sharp but they are one of the most fragile aspects of nature.  I have a series of photos to share with you over a series of days.  I hope that you enjoy them.
