Picture Perfect

With all of the flights into and out of Chicago, last Sunday was the first time that I had an opportunity to get a postcard perfect picture of the Chicago skyline.

I chose to take pictures from two different  zoom points. Everything was so crisp and clear.

Then on the next leg of the trip the sunset was fabulous! I wish my cell phone could have captured the golden sparkling back up from the lakes.  It looked like God had sparkled pieces of gold across the face of the earth.

A short time later as the sun dipped behind the horizon, the colors darkened and  became vibrant! Is this how God views the earth? For all the progress of mankind, we can't duplicate his natural glory.
