Invigorated Naturally

The spring and fall equinox is a common time for the Northern lights due to the longer night time hours.  But the challenge is the rest of the weather.  There are so many cloudy or partly cloudy nights. Although last night the clouds threatened to stop me from seeing the aurora, The Lady of Lights was playing peek-a-boo.
The exciting part of last night was that these lights were visible without the camera.  I could see the pillars in the air and the swirl of the light.  I do need to point out that the green does not register to the eye this far South.  I knew that as I took photos, they were going to be dynamic.  I can't wait to see some of the photos from people who are further North of here.
One of the major things on my bucket list is traveling far enough up North that I can use the video portion of my camera and get full color!  Alaska, Northern Canada or maybe Iceland or Norway?
