Cotton to Onions

I should have taken a before picture.  I often seem to forget that. Instead you get to see the almost done project with the pile of cotton plants on the floor.
They weren't quite mature enough to totally pop. With this cold spell, I'm glad I didn't plant this year. They wouldn't have made it.
Don't you love the character that the cotton roots provide?
It says craft project! So much to do so little time.
Dale harvested 2/3 of the onions today. I'm not sure what they used wall for but I use it for drying plants.  I think maybe they took the sheet rock off an old wall and then left the wall. I'm not sure but this works for us!
