In a recent visit to my dad's in the Iron range Pat served up Patsys. This is a new food for me but a common food on the Iron Range in Northern Minnesota. A pasty is like a beef pot pie without the gravy and the pot.
Beef, potatoes, carrots, turnips are the most common ingredients.
Uncle Bill brought the decadent chocolate filled treat. We microwaved them for just a few seconds and they nearly melted in our mouths.
