I was so excited yesterday when I saw two eggs in the pullet shed.

A pullet is a young chicken. These chickens and roosters were the ones that hatched this spring.

They are in the separate area of the barn from the older chickens and roosters. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful the roosters are compared to the hens.
