Praying with hands in the air!

We were at an auction today. I scored a good deal on saw blades for painting! We ended up with a hay wagon for $300, a stack of 16' gates, and a 25' windmill along with a hay bale elevator. There were a few other minor purchases which I'm sure that I will share later.
One person's junk is another person's treasure
This made me giggle ... a good buy for this proud man "driving" his John Deer tractor home. Or more accurately he is steering it while being towed home.  It was painted up nicely but needed some tinkering.
Men's toys are just boy's toys but larger
Did I pray before we started the day? No because there wasn't anything that was an absolute must have. This was all useful and nice to have. On the way home Dale took off with the bale elevator. Willard followed behind him with the hay wagon filled with good deals.  I went over to Watkins for gasoline and to pick up one of Dale's relatives. When we caught up to them, the bale elevator was in the ditch luckily upright.
...not so safe safety pin
A pin similar to this one had malfunctioned. We needed to find it in order to get home. Dale and Willard had already checked in the long grass in the ditches. With my hands in the air I said a simple prayer, "Lord help me find this pin." I started looking in the ditch. Then I felt led to focus on the road.  There it was in the center of the driving lane. With everything secured again, we headed back home. We made it the rest of the way home ~ safely!
