Snow?

I was surprised to look outside this afternoon and see snow falling from the sky.  It accumulated for awhile and then disappeared.  Thank GOODNESS!  I don't think that I can take much more snow and cold.  Starting tomorrow, it is supposed to be over 60 degrees for almost a week!  I sure hope that they are right. 

April Fools (April 12th snowfall)

Going backwards in my day, during my lunch hour I drove the 3 miles up the road and let my nephews dogs outside.  Lucy is always wild when I arrive.  She had this HUGE stick that she was taking pleasure in hauling across the yard.

At first I thought that it was just her play alone toy. Until she brought it over to me and allowed me to take it.  With all of our dogs, I understood "Play fetch with me!"  Oh, she was so excited.  Almost too excited, there were a couple of times that she almost unintentionally hit me with her stick.
