Where does all our illness come from?

I have been struggling with this.  My liver in the middle of the night creates and dumps large amounts of sugar into my body.  My highest blood sugars are first thing in the morning.  When I was in my early 20's I was told that I had hypoglycemia.  My blood sugar would drop too low.  Now, I wonder if I was told that because they realized what my liver was doing.  I will never know that.

I wasn't given any special diet to follow an through the years my body has continued to react that way.  My blood sugars were running 105-130 and my A1C was high so my doctor said that I was borderline diabetic and put me on a medicine that was supposed to help.  My blood sugars are now 180-210 and according to my A1C my average blood sugar is 235.  Doctor the medicine is hurting not helping the situation.

I was also suffering several side effects including having difficulty swallowing my food.  In fact I was getting to the point where I was choking at almost every meal.  Over the past several years I've been trying to find the right nighttime snack that will help my body make it through the night but nothing has worked.

I took myself off the medicine.  I have done some more research.  And I have found that out that there is a natural appetite suppressant that just might work.  In the evening you mix 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon into 8 ounces of water. As the water cools add 1 teaspoon of honey and mix it up.  Drink half right before bed and the other half first thing in the morning.  Eat breakfast an hour later.

It makes sense that this might work to keep my sugar levels steady at night.  Honey is a natural sugar that metabolizes slowly.  Cinnamon is a spice that helps the pancreas works better.  The two together just might help me make it through the night.  It is a natural digestive cleanser too.  One of the notations said that it helps to clear the digestive tract allowing it to absorb nutrients better.  I am going to give it a try.  Unlike the processed medicines, this doesn't have huge side effects.
