Final Post about the Peirce Mansion - Historical artifacts

The master bedroom has been decorated with antiques typical of the late 1800's early 1900's.

I took photos of a couple of viewpoints of the room so that I could show you the luxury that the families in this home most likely enjoyed.

One room was put together as a Nursery.  There may not be proof that this is what it was used for but the adjoining door suggests that it was most likely used as a nursery.

The two rooms shown below were also joined together.  Most likely a Nanny's room and the children's playroom.  I was there close enough to Halloween that they still had the children's costumes hanging by the doorway.  Knowing the era, I wonder if they were dress up or costumes for a play.  The Victorian era did not wear costumes that didn't come until well into the next century.

From inside of the room, you can see the adjoining door to the supposed Nanny's room.  This room displays many toys from children a century ago.

This is my last post of photos from the Peirce Mansion.  I hope that you have enjoyed looking at them as much as I enjoyed the tour of the house.  Harold, my tour guide was very informative.  He promised me that he would "EB" the blog watching for the photos.  (That is eye ball the blog.)
