Rainy days

There is something extra neat about being able to see the rain falling out of the clouds.  I remember as a child a storm coming through.  On one side of the road the rain was shining and on the other side of the road it was raining.  Looking at the clouds below, somewhere there is a distinctive line with a ray of sun on one spot and rain falling just feet away.

The rain is falling
The drama of the clouds give a visual texture.  The top of the photo looks a little rough.  Just below that it looks like God frosted the sky with cake frosting - maybe it is blueberry chocolate?  The bottom of the cloud reminds me of a textured ceiling.  In the distance the breaking clouds remind me of those pastry shows on TV where they take chocolate or candy and lay it out in long string-like shapes that are laid across a dessert to make it look beautiful!  Hmm. I must be hungry if I am seeing food over and over in the clouds.

The Texture in the Sky or is it the Flavor?
As it got closer, it changed color and I wasn't able to see as much through my camera lens.  But it look at that bright -brilliant blue color with the soft wisps of grey streaming down.
