The neighbors in the alley behind Dale's place had a major branch in a tree go down in a storm a few weeks ago. Since the trunk of the tree is split and rotting, they decided to be proactive and take the tree down.
Working closely with the neighbor, they assessed the possible directions that the limbs could fall. They used ropes attached to a truck trying to guide it to a safe direction. Everything was moved out of the way that possibly could.

That was our weekend entertainment.

We also picked some fruit from the garden; a couple small zucchini and peas. Our neighbors dug up some vegetables, potatoes. I added cabbage, onions, mushrooms and broccoli and stir fried it together with teriyaki seasoning. (Remember: fruits flower and veggies root and stalk.)

| Dale's Birthday Dinner |
Dales birthday is tomorrow, so we grilled steaks to go with it. For his actual birthday supper we will be serving brats and beans to the estimated 50 residents where he works. That is my guy, he'd rather give than receive on his birthday.
