2013 Opening Fishing

We went for a Sunday afternoon drive today.  Most of the lakes that we passed by had hardly started melting.  It is only two weeks away from fishing opener and I have significant concerns that the lakes will be ice free. And if they are, I can't help but wonder if the fish will be biting yet.

Wouldn't it be funny if they needed to cut holes in the ice to fish on fishing opener?  NOT!  I definitely sick of winter.  I think we might go crazy if the lakes aren't open in time.
 


2013 Opener Fishing?????

 Okay, so this isn't 2013 it was a fishing contest in 2009.  But the reality that fishing boats might not be able to get on many of the lakes is a real concern.
