The "and sunny" is the key part. The snow has been slowly melting and evaporating this week. Slow enough that there is a bit of standing water but it doesn't look like huge amounts flowing into the rivers.
I am ready to be rid of the snow! YES, let it melt, let it melt, let it melt. The old wives tale is that you are supposed to have potatoes planted by Good Friday. That is tomorrow and it is impossible because the ground is still frozen.
I am still in the first year with my employer. I noticed towards the end of the day many people were "offline" very odd for a Thursday. But we travel a lot and it finally hit me about 8:30 tonight. Good Friday is a company holiday! I have the day off tomorrow.
