Be still my heart!

Look at these beautiful faces. Is there any wonder why I have fallen in love with them? The black/rust Doberman is the oldest and the mama of three litters.  With her natural ears, blowing in the wind, she stands attentive and beautiful.

Duchess
Last fall after My Jenny was hit by a car and died we had problems with Duchess mourning.  We had the opportunity to buy a "blue" Doberman so we bought little Misty Blue. She is now 13 months old.  This spring, we received a call and Sonjia's new mom lost her position.  We had always said if anything happened that we would take her back.  So she is home with Grandma and Grandpa. She is almost 19 months old (from Duchess last litter.)

The Babies: Misty Blue and Sonjia
For some reason most of the Red/rust puppies from Duchess litters ended up to be the larger dogs.  Yes, this beautiful baby is still a baby and will be for 6-12 more months.

Sonjia
Little Misty Blue is the smallest of the three dogs.  Although she is gaining on Duchess by the day.  She only seems to stay still when she is by one of the other dogs and they stand still or when she is sleeping.  All three of our girls have natural ears.  And aren't they absolutely gorgeous!
