Farm Report

The old wives tale for the crops is "knee high by the fourth of July." The news reporters were leary that the corn was going to be even as high as knee high by the fourth of July.

I am not sure about other areas of the state.  But around my place the corn is between knee high and shoulder high.  There were several farmers that had problems getting into the fields because of the wet spring. Those are the fields that are only knee high.
