The Queen is in the house!

Breakfast in bed

She was served breakfast in bed this morning.  Although she was a bit confused as to what her dog food was on the bed with her.  I keep my house around 70-72 degrees yet she loves to be covered.  My Jenny joined us mid-morning after a short visit at Dale's.  He wanted to go to work for a few hours so the girls stayed with me.

Tracking time

Early afternoon, we went to the park by the Clear Lake. The girls  enjoyed sniffing out the tracks left by critters in the snow.

Clear Lake 12/08/2012

I made note of the open water on the lake. This is not a good sign for ice fishermen/women.  Snow on the ice before the lake is frozen over means that the snow covered ice will thicken up slower. A friend of ours on the other side of the lake mentioned that there were two collapsible fish houses on the lake this morning.  I only have one thing to say about that, "Idiots!". Sorry that isn't nice but really??? Less than half of the lake is frozen over.  Two fish houses dropped through the ice last year.

Nap time

When we got home, the young ladies (the Queen and the Princess) snuggled up on the couch and took a nap.  Ah, the dog's life!
