11 days away from Christmas and dealing with the unexpected tragedy of a school shooting. 26 innocent people have lost their lives so far. I am sick of hearing new reporters wonder what can be done to stop the violence. Take back America!
Put God back in the schools. Let me be clear that I do NOT mean religion. I mean GOD the Father and creator of all things. Teach his 10 commandments: 1 God put him first and don't use his name as a swear word, remember the Sabbath & keep it holy (working 7 days a week make one weak), honor your parents (teachers and authority figures), don't kill, don't have sex out of marriage, cheat, lie about your neighbor, or crave any of your neighbors things. Love your neighbor as yourself. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. (This would take care of bullying too!)
If children were really raised to live with those ethics and the adults that cared for those kids honored those teachings, we'd be living in heaven on earth.
The other part of the story is reducing violence on TV. There is so much violence on TV that kids see and get numb to seeing people shot and killed. Then they see the person in a commercial or on another show and somewhere in their mind guns no longer kill people dead. It is just entertainment.
