39, 41, 47, 51, 49

Go West young man go west.  A day like today the further West I drove, the warmer it got.  I was wearing a pair of sweats and a t-shirt.  My heavy winter coat was on the passenger seat next to me.  I think my blood is getting “winter thick”.  Considering my perfect temperature inside and out is 73 degrees, the thought of being “comfortable” at around 50 degrees wearing a t-shirt is a strange thought.
I have noticed that the 50-60 degree range always feels colder before the first extended freezing spell in the fall than it does in the springtime.  Perspective.  It changes everything!

I have the same exact room that I did week one of training.  Walking in again, it felt small.  I did a WHOA! – this is NOT a small room.  But the last two rooms I was in was a 3-bedroom suite instead of a 1-bedroom suite.  It is smaller.  But it is by no means “small”.  Perspective – again. Hmmm.
Then I hung up my clothing in the closet.  For S & G’s I decided to “organize” my clothing by color.  My winter wardrobe is missing yellow and orange, as it should don’t you think?  (Those are much more spring and summer colors.)  I almost re-arranged it just to not feel quite so OCD.  Again, a perspective issue so please don’t take my clothing arranged by color as an OCD issue.  My home closest is by no means organized or coordinated.  In fact, I use those plastic hooks that five shirts can hang vertical.  My closet is a bit over-packed.   It is time to get the summer clothes out of there again.  I’ve been too busy this fall to swap out the closet.  By the time I “get around to it” it might just be time to bring the summer clothing out again.
