Puppies? Puppies? Puppies!

We are once again on puppy watch!  Duchess came into heat about two weeks ago.  Sid came back last Saturday.  It took until Wednesday before they started the mating process.  Duchess is about a month ahead of schedule. Keeping a female puppy for future breeding has probably adjusted her cycle.

If I figured right, the puppies will be due about January 23rd. Now comes the exciting time of beginning watching closely to see if the breeding was successful.  She doesn't significantly show until three to four weeks before delivery.

We have eight interested parties in the full size Doberman puppies.  Her last two litters were twelve puppies each.  I suppose it is going to be time to start the game.

What day will she whelp (deliver)?
How many puppies?
How many males / females?
What colors? (She has always had black/rust and red/rust. But fawn and blue are also possible.)
