Play Date

I tried to post a version of this on Sunday.  But the storms in my area froze up the connection between the post on my phone and the Internet.  This morning it is still saying that it is trying to post and not allowing me to enter anything.

Dog's begin to greet each other for play-date

We planned a "Play Date" with all of the puppies from Duchess' two litters.

Julie opened up her place for us to meet with the very large fenced in yard.  It was warm and windy.  The wind made it comfortable.  We passed out paper plates and they almost blew away in the wind.  It challenged us as we tried to hold the plate in a way that the cheese, meat, and crackers would not blow away.  The dogs laid at our feet hoping, wishing, dreaming that a morsel would be caught by the wind.  Thunder rolled in the distance until the winds blew in the storm clouds.  The soft sprinkle lasted long enough for us to load up and alas, the day ended sooner than we had hoped.  We all had a good time.  Maybe next time a larger group will show up.
