Random thoughts on a stormy night

Storms are always so beautiful from a distance.

This cloud was beautiful at 6 PM I found out when I turned on the weather it contained a tornado watch, a severe thunderstorm warning with 1/4" hail reported.  Those in the midst of the storm could not see the beauty.  They could only see the fear of destruction and damage. 

It is like the troubles in our lives.  When we are in the midst of the trouble it is difficult to see the silver lining. 

Chocolate Molten Cake with Vanilla Ice cream

Early this week, I was remembering the trip my Father and I took to Europe.  While on the cruise, we had the most delicious Molten Cake.  My calorie counter was yelling "NO!" but it lost and I enjoyed a wonderful memory as I ate this small but rich piece of cake.
