Spring came late this year. But I was able to catch the first lilac bloom.
The white lilac tree is hanging in there. It has a good amount of blossoms this year.
The lilac hedge outside of the kitchen window is in need of a trimming. But I want to keep the height and it is taller than I am. But there is something to be said about the dried seed pods surrounding the new growth.
The flowering crab tree was starting to bloom.
And my miniature cherry tree/bush was blooming for the first time! I can't wait to see what it produces.
It will be nice when this finally blooms. (I bet as I write this it is in full bloom back home.)
I guess I stood corrected and there was only one small bouquet of flowers blooming. It was just enough to send out the scent to the bees. Then I left for 3 days and missed the full bloom.
